The Young Leaders in Tech meetup series is back and will be hosted from the Toast offices on Stephen's green. Read on for event and speaker details.
After a long break, the Young Leaders in Tech Meetup series is back, and the next event will be hosted from the Toast offices on Stephen’s green.
For this meetup, we have 3 Toast employees lined up for a panel hosted by myself, and we will be talking about their own experiences in leadership and also taking questions from the audience.
There will be an hour or so of a panel discussion, and the rest of the time will be allocated to networking and 1-2-1 introductions.

Andrea Attard
Director, Global Demand Generation @ Toast
Andrea Attard is a seasoned marketing leader with over a decade of experience driving growth and innovation in the tech industry. Currently serving as the Director of International Demand Marketing at Toast, Andrea is instrumental in building and scaling go-to-market strategies across international markets, empowering the global restaurant community to thrive. In addition to her role at Toast, she leads the Ireland chapter of ToastHER, an ERG dedicated to empowering women at Toast.
Prior to Toast, Andrea led global teams at HubSpot focused on partner acquisition, community engagement, and event marketing. Her leadership was key to growing HubSpot’s partner ecosystem and enhancing customer engagement through impactful community initiatives. Andrea’s experience also includes Paddy Power, where she progressed from individual contributor to Senior Manager, leading a team that aligned gaming channel strategies and maximised marketing efficiencies.
With a passion for building high-performing teams and a track record of success in international and cross-functional environments, Andrea is committed to driving impactful change and fostering inclusive cultures in the workplace.
Cara Kelly
Director, Technology Enablement @ Toast
Cara Kelly is a seasoned Director with over 20 years of experience in the tech and telecommunications sectors, specializing in BSS and OSS system transformations. She is currently the Director of Technology Enablement at Toast, where she leads a global team that drives engineering excellence, fosters innovation, and elevates performance through strategic initiatives like the “Voice of the Developer” program. Under her leadership, the team has implemented AI-focused learning and development programs, streamlined onboarding processes, and created a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. Cara's deep understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of the industry allows her to add value at every stage of a project lifecycle.
Beyond her technical expertise, Cara has a passion for community engagement, serving as Chair of Toast.org in Ireland. In this role, she leads a dedicated team that works on philanthropic initiatives and strategic partnerships with charitable organizations, driving transformative change through volunteerism and innovative product solutions. With a career spanning leadership roles in program and project management, Cara continues to be a driving force in creating collaborative, customer-focused environments that prioritize learning, development, and organizational success.
Noel O'Connell
District Sales Manager for Ireland @ Toast
Noel O'Connell is a results-driven sales leader with a proven track record of success in customer relationship management and business development. As the District Sales Manager for Ireland at Toast, Noel brings his expertise in new business acquisition, negotiation, and sales strategy to help drive Toast's growth in the region. In his role, he focuses on building and nurturing a large portfolio of customers, proactively securing new business while enhancing existing accounts to meet and exceed targets. Noel's leadership style is centered on communication and collaboration, fostering strong client relationships to ensure continued success.
Prior to joining Toast, Noel spent over nine years at OpenTable, where he played a key role in expanding the company's presence in Dublin. He began as the Founding Account Executive for Dublin and quickly progressed to Senior Account Executive for Ireland. During his tenure, Noel was instrumental in driving sales and increasing market share, solidifying OpenTable's reputation as a leading provider of reservation and guest management solutions for restaurants. His earlier experience at Groupon UK & IE as a Business Consultant further honed his ability to craft tailored business solutions and negotiate successful deals.
